India Hixon Radfar, poet and former resident of Woodstock, NY, has resettled in the Los Angeles area with her husband, Bernard, where they continue to raise their son, Aram, and their new daughter, Leila, amidst an extended Persian family. This book is about what life was like before she left, and specifically how she discovered in very real terms what mountains can do for language.
